WHAT CAN YOU FIND ON MITIMPLE.COM?
At the moment, our catalog is limited, but we are in the process of expanding to offer a greater variety of instruments and other products related to this instrument. HOW DOES IT WORK?
It’s very simple! It works like any other online store. Add the products you want to buy to your shopping cart, when you're ready, go to the checkout page, enter your personal details for shipping and contact purposes, and pay for your order using one of the available payment methods, which are the latest, most modern, and have the highest security measures. Before paying, you’ll see the shipping costs to your address. Shipments are handled by a Canary Islands logistics company, covering the entire Archipelago with affordable prices starting from €9. Once the order is handed over to the transport company, it takes less than 48 hours to arrive.
Your order will start being prepared, and we will send it as soon as possible, as long as the instrument is available. We don’t always have stock of all instruments, as they are handcrafted, manual, and not industrially produced, so stock is not always available. You may have to wait a little while for your instrument to be completed. But don’t worry; all instruments are handled with care, and we always ensure that, sooner or later, the timple reaches the hands of its buyer.
OUR LUTHIERS
Abraham Luthier
Abraham Marrero is one of the most recognized traditional musical instrument makers on the island of Tenerife. Always linked to the world of Canarian folklore, the brand Abraham Luthier offers a wide range of instruments (timples, contras, lutes, bandurrias, cuatros, and classical guitars), with the most extensive catalog in terms of features, woods, and tonalities. Abraham Marrero's family tradition dates back to the time of Maestro Andrés de Lanzarote, Abraham's great-grandfather, a renowned timple maker. His son, Andrés Albornoz, inherited Maestro Andrés' technique and wisdom. Today, Abraham carries on this tradition and modernizes it, contributing to the evolution of the timple in the 21st century.
Baritto
Born in Venezuela, after graduating, he acquired a workshop in 1996 to repair musical instruments and began manufacturing his first string instruments. After studying with masters Gonzalo Pieters Fergusson and Alexander Paredes in Venezuela, he settled permanently in Tenerife, where he founded his own workshop, dedicated to the manufacturing and repair of all kinds of instruments, especially timples and traditional Venezuelan instruments.
